Visas for Doctors, Nurses and Other Health Professionals
The Health and Care Visa is part of the Skilled Worker route for individuals working in eligible health occupations with a job offer from the NHS, social care sector or employers and organisations which provide services to the NHS.
Eligible Applicants under this category shall:
(a) be granted fast-track entry:
(b) pay reduced application fees;
(c) receive dedicated support regarding the application process,
(d) bring their families: and
(e) will be exempt paying the Immigration Health Surcharge for themselves and for their dependents.
Frontline workers in the health and social care sector who are not eligible for the new Health and Care Visa will pay the Immigration Health Surcharge, but will benefit from a reimbursement scheme.
